Department: Center for Civic Engagement

Details:

What are your aspirations for the Pullman community in 2040 and beyond? What will our community look like in 20 years? WSU faculty, staff, and students who live, work, learn, shop, or play in Pullman are invited to apply for a Pullman 2040 Initiative taskforce to help shape the future of the Pullman community. Six taskforces will focus on community identity, economic development, education, environment and recreation, visual appeal, and wellness.

Visit pullman2040.org to apply to join a taskforce and to learn more about this initiative. Applications will be accepted through April 30, 2017.

The Pullman 2040 steering committee is a campus-community collaborative that includes members from the WSU Center for Civic Engagement, Pullman Chamber of Commerce, Pullman School District, Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Community Action Center, South Fork / Porch Light Pizza, Avista, Pullman City Council, HUB International, and more.
