WSU Center for Civic Engagement Now Hiring Student Staff for Fall 2017
Department: Center for Civic Engagement
Small acts can change the world, especially when we do them together. The Center for Civic Engagement (CCE) is looking for motivated, service-minded undergraduate students and graduate students to join our team starting in fall 2017. Undergraduate openings include Graphic Designer (Marketing Assistant), Peer Mentor, Literacy Mentor, and Project Leader positions. Interested undergraduates can apply for and learn more about the open positions on CougLink. Undergraduate applications are accepted through Monday, March 27.
The CCE is also looking for a graduate student to fill the Group Projects Graduate Assistant position. This individual will work with student groups and community partners to develop and implement service projects. This GA will also assist with the day-to-day operations of the CCE and supervise or work directly with undergraduate staff. Graduate Assistantships include a tuition waiver, stipend, and health insurance. Applicants should be eligible for work study. Interested graduate students should email Ben Calabretta, CCE Associate Director, at firstname.lastname@example.org for job descriptions. Applicants must submit a cover letter, resume or CV, and three references for consideration.
Positions will be filled on a rolling basis, so be sure to apply early. This is a great opportunity to get paid to make a difference. Visit cce.wsu.edu/jobs to learn more information and direct application links.
